Boss arrives back after a trip around the world

We were on a day skipper course moored in Haslar Marine, Gosport when Alex Thomson arrived back after finishing 3rd in the Vendee Globe.

First Day Skippers in 2013

Very strong group who had all completed our online theory before. We started the first 3 days in stormy weather and completed last weekend in thick fog. But had very little rain, amazingly mild, didn't even use the central heating onboard.

3 new Day Skippers

Dean, Graham and Ian booked the whole boat between them. Graham has sailed with us before. 

On the way back saw a sea survival exercise with mini life rafts.

Then the helicopter came and winched them up.
