3 new Day Skippers

Dean, Graham and Ian booked the whole boat between them. Graham has sailed with us before.

On the way back saw a sea survival exercise with mini life rafts.

Then the helicopter came and winched them up.

Day 3 Day Skipper course

Windy day today, up to a force 8 gale so left Hamble and stay in Southampton water. Am lucky on the Solent, great playground for students, always somewhere to sail, what ever the weather!

Sailed past the Oriana, P&O ship, while she was moored up. More than 400 passengers on a cruise ship were hit by winter vomiting bug norovirus, Southampton's port health authority has confirmed.

Moored up in Ocean village for the night. Hamble, Cowes and then onto Yarmouth for day 4.

Moored at Alum Bay

We anchored at Alum Bay after sail from Hamble River to prepare for the night passage on a day skipper course. Lovely Sunset over the Needles.
While the students work on the night passage plan to Haslar marina, Gosport.
